Our mission is to provide compassionate, ethical, and holistic medical care to economically disadvantaged patients, regardless of their background. We are dedicated to preserving the authentic principles of Tibetan Medicine while promoting health, well-being, and preventive care. We also aspire to organize annual free medical outreach programs for farming and nomadic communities throughout the Himalayan region, making the benefits of Tibetan Medicine accessible to those with limited access to quality healthcare services.
Our Goal
Within the tradition of Tibetan Medicine, the Drikung Medical Lineage (Drigung Sowa Rigpa) is a distinguished system established by the Twenty-third Throne Holder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage, the Omniscient Rigdzin Chödrak. This lineage has made an immense contribution to the development of Tibetan medical science and represents a priceless treasury of medical knowledge and wisdom.

Dr Konchok Bhuchung
Dr. Konchok Bhauchung, born in northern Tibet, trained in Drikung Kagyu monastic traditions before pursuing Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan medicine, and acupuncture in India. He became a physician, scholar, and author, preserving rare medical texts, serving Himalayan communities through healthcare outreach, and in 2016 founded Drikung Sorig Amrita Herbal Product.
